She was predeceased by: her husband Jesus V. Alvarez Sr.; and her children, Arturo Alvarez and Petra Alafa. She is survived by: her siblings, Celestina Lucio and Juan Lucio; her children, Josefina Alvarez, Jesus Jr. (Yolanda Alvarez), Jose (Eva Alvarez), Rafael (Lorene Alvarez) and Juan (Monica Alvarez); and her son-in-law Jose Alafa (Petra Alafa). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
