He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Rodriguez and Salvador Ortega; and his brothers, Pedro Ortega, Felipe Ortega and Jesus Ortega.
He is survived by: his children, Anita Bernabe, Diana Treviño, Rudy Ortega, Ruby Martinez, Tony Ortega and Jose F. Ortega, Jr.; and his siblings, Federico Ortega, Agustina Flores, Margarita Ortega and Candelaria Garza. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dopkins Funeral Chapel (189 S J St, Dinuba, CA 93618). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
