He was predeceased by: his brother Rollie Serpa; his daughter Stacie Velasquez; and his sister-in-law Shirley Taylor. He is survived by: his brother Rolland; his cousins, Geraldine Lopes and Arnold Rocha; his caregivers, Patricia Guzman, Lucy Cruz and Justin Velasquez; his wife Carol; his daughters, Donna West (Rick) and Debbie Bryan (Tom); his grandchildren, Jason Bryan, Josh Bryan (Erin), Jared Jones (Ashley), Jackie Siegenthaler (Shannon) and Justin Velasquez (Tiffany); and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Madden Bryan, Greyson Bryan, Goldie, Geri Siegenthaler, Raymond, Abbie Jones, Vincent and Aubrey Velasquez.
