He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Garcia and Aurora Garcia; and his siblings, Jenny, Bobby, Nellie and Steve.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his children, Alexander Jr., Terry (Roxanna) and Stephanie; his siblings, Josie, Connie, Velia, Henrietta, Lawrence, Phyllis, Sally and Ester; and his pet Tank. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
