He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eulogio Contreras and Leovigilda Mendez; his wife Maria of Jesus Lopez; and his children, Gloria, Irma, Pablo, Angelica, Fernando, Monica, Alejandra, Jorge, Jaime and Jani. He was also cherished by 33 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren.
