She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bivins and Mamie Bivins; her husband Buford Dodson; and her children, Michael Dodson and Nancy Allison.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Reid (Tom), Dennis Dodson (Joan) and Alice Cornwell; and her sister Betty Boston (Harry). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
