He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard Gurr and ArVeda Gurr (Rothlisberger); and his sisters, MarJeanne and Kathryn. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sister Patricia Gurr; and his children, J. Jaren Gurr, Kimberly A. Thomason (Gurr), J. Richard Gurr, Elizabeth A. Ioannou (Gurr), J. Fredrick Gurr and Jesse M. Gurr. He is also survived by spouses, 26 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren.
