It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Hartman of Ventura, California, born in Decatur, Arkansas, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband David Hartman; her daughter Kathy Clark; her brother Clyde Truitt; and her parents, Charles Truitt and Jewell Truitt.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Thompson (Dan) and Kris Brown (Jeff); her grandchildren, Rachael Thompson, Rebecca Oates (Evan), Sean Clark, Alison Yanzick (Marshall), David Newby and Robin Deming (Rick); and her great grandchildren, Hallie, Hunter Clark (Sean), Deacon, Isla, Noelle Oates (Rebecca), William Deming (Robin) and Marli Yanzick (Alison).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Ventura Jubilee Fellowship Church (1956 Palma Dr Suite A, Ventura, CA 93003).
