It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marie Sawyer Robles (Ventura, California), who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Joan Marie Sawyer shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joan Marie Sawyer farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Sawyer and Thelma Sawyer; her husband David Robles; her sons, David Thomas and Mark Robles; and her sister Mary Jane Cummings.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Jane Sawyer; her daughters, Juanita Robles, Lisa Robles and Connie Olivas (Evan); and her brother Ernie Sawyer. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home & Cremation Service (757 E Main St, Ventura, CA 93001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
