Genevieve Laubacher Basso Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2022, at the age of 91, Genevieve Laubacher Basso of Ventura, California, born in Oxnard, California passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Genevieve Laubacher Basso to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Laubacher and Florence Laubacher; and her husband Jimmy. She is survived by: her children, Steven Basso of Camarillo and Michelle Hagemann (Ken) of Ventura; her grandchildren, Nicole Corral (Frank) of Ventura, Steven Ross Hagemann of Ventura and Andrea Hagemann of Ventura; her great grandchildren, James, Landon and Evan Corral; and her sisters, Rosemary Quilici of Campbell, California and Mildred "Mimi" Maring (Edward) of Patterson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In 1964, she started in the labor and delivery department and was there for over 20 years before transferring to the front desk, where she remained until March 2020; the COVID-19 shutdown forced her into retirement.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Our Lady of the Assumption School, Our Lady of the Assumption Church, or a favorite charity.
