She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Edward Gunderson and Ellen Faun Tuttle Gunderson; her son Terry James Parker; and her siblings, Bruce Lee Gunderson, Kay Cheri Halsey, Carol Ann Brown and Vicki Lynn Thomson.
She is survived by: her husband James Thomson; her sons, Michael Mitchell (Mandy), Mark Mitchell (Sheila) and Roger Mitchell (Kristy); her stepchildren, James Thomson (Kerry), Nicole Garrison (Greg), Moira Levy and Kelly Banning (Ivan); and her siblings, Donald Gene Gunderson, Robert Scott Gunderson (Phyllis), Deborah Leigh Johnson (Lynn) and Brett Gunderson (Heidi). She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Southern Utah Food Bank.
