He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Straub and Marie Straub; his stepmother Anna; his brother Ernest; and his wife Barbara.
He is survived by: his children, David Straub (Kathi), Debbie Straub (Tim), Richard Straub (Melinda), Kathy Branch (Rob) and Sue Straub; and his grandchildren, Tony, Brian, Sydney (Bryan), Richie Straub, Paul (Yuko), Jim Stratford (Arianna), Loryn (Bashar), Robert (Elise), Kristina (Gary) and Michael Branch. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Wounded Warriors.
