He was predeceased by: his mother Sarah Southall (Ferguson); his brother John Southall (Dorothy Southall); his son Jason Southall; and his father Rev. John Southall. He is survived by: his children, Paul Jr. (Natalie), Jennifer (Jennifer), Rachel (Theodore), Kristen, Kori (Eugene), Kimberly, Keren, Jeren and Kayla; and his brothers, Nathan, David and Mayweather Shorter. He is also survived by many grandchildren, his brothers, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (114 Montecito Ave, Oakland, CA 94610).
