He is survived by: his children, Michael LaRiviere and Jennifer LaRiviere; his grandson Asheron Sykes; his son-in-law Sam Sykes; his siblings, John LaRiviere, Paul LaRiviere-Lipsett (Jim), Adrian Davis and Alex LaRiviere; and his brother-in-law Merlin Chestnut. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
