He was predeceased by: his son Brian Carter; and his father Jerold Wayne Carter. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Josh Sawyer (Megan) and Gill Valenzuela (Charleto); his daughter-in-law Tiana Carter; his grandchildren, Kekoa, Peyton, Jeramiah, Preston, Jaxon, Juliana and Kayliana; his mother Roberta Armsbury; his uncle Dan Baker; his siblings, Steve Carter, Tom Carter (Jamie), Mole Wertz, Diane Karn (Bob) and Linda Phych (John); and his friend Vallejo. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
