He was predeceased by: his wife June Rush (Bortz); his parents, James Rush and Blanche Rush; and his siblings, Betty Carr, Michael and Tom Rush.
He is survived by: his sisters, Anna (Mario), Dorothy and Mary; his children, Robert "Buzz" (Jane), Patrick Jr. (Sue), Michael (Pam), Becky (Tom), Laura (Hugh) and Mary; his grandchildren, Chris, Jenny, Victor, Sam, Gus, Alec, Nathan, Sean, Emma and Oliver; and his great grandchildren, Paige, Daeton and Constantine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
