He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leo Chartier and Flora Edna Black; his wife LaJuan; and his siblings, Raymond Chartier, Ramona Chartier, Ralph S. Chartier, Ronald Leo Chartier (Ronnie) and Christine Chartier (LaJuan Newcomb Chartier).
He is survived by: his sister Carol DaCosta; and his daughter Debra Ann Reed of Maricopa, AZ.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
