He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Ander Sorensen and Ruby Sorensen Palmer; his stepfather Rev. Leonard Palmer; and his brothers, Howard, Alex and Calvin.
He is survived by: his wife Michele; his daughter Katie; his son-in-law Ken; his grandsons, Connor (Debra), Trevor and Garrett; and his sisters, Dotti and Karen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
