He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; and his children, Curt, Jo, Shawn, Greg and Emily. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home (524 Elmira Rd, Vacaville, CA 95687). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (350 Stinson Ave, Vacaville, CA 95688).
After 3 years as Research Engineer with Sperry-Rand Corporation in New York, he returned to graduate school, this time Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, as a Gilman Fellow for two years, then a National Science Foundation Fellow his final year.
