She is survived by: her husband Joaquin Zabala; her children, Patrick Zabala (Susie), Phyllis Garcia (Louie), Monica Heredia (Dave), Deborah Broadwater, Rebecca Vasquez (Eddie), Lorraine Quon, Ivy Zabala, Juliana Davidsmeier and Priscilla Zielinski (Tom); and her siblings, Gregorio Rodriguez, Rosa Moreno, Meri Barrios and Nellie Gonzales. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren.
