“I was sorry to hear of George’s passing. I met him in 1968, when I was a 16 year old in L.A. and looking for my way in the world. He lived in a very large house in town, where the landlord rented rooms to several people. I liked him immediately because he was easy to converse with, very intelligent and had a great sense of humor. It was fun to laugh with George. We later were in a circle of friends that enjoyed a lot of time, discussions and laughter together. He will be missed.”
