She is survived by: her husband Tom; her son Christopher Barnes of San Diego; her siblings, Lalaine Escobedo of Sacramento, CA, Wennie Ballard of Lebanon, IN, Josie Hetzer of San Marcos, CA, Gemma Gallagher of Woodbridge, VA, Edy Hipke of Blythe, CA, Rod Sarmiento of San Diego, Jun Sarmiento of San Diego, Fernando Sarmiento of San Diego, Danilo Sarmiento of San Diego and Tony Sarmiento of San Diego; and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Medley of San Diego, Ethan Medley of San Diego, Hudson Barnes of San Diego, Adaline Barnes of San Diego and Finley Barnes of San Diego.
