“I am so very sorry to learn of Jim's passing. We have been friends since the 1980s when we were fellow dog walkers and close neighbors. We had not been in close contact recently, especially since his injury from the loose dog. I hope he had a peaceful exit from this life, and that he'd had time to address his few loose ends. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. I hope his dear dog Darla was not left homeless and that he had time to arrange for her. He'd want that. RIP, Jim.”
