He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril James and Ruth Marietta Kelly (Ehredt); his brother Danny; his son Brian; and his brother-in-law Shawn.
He is survived by: his wife Cathie Ann Coleman; his children, Michael (Karen) of Union City, Meg Fuentes of Union City, Mary Katherine Rodriguez (Victor) of Union City and Colleen Mann (John) of Florida; his grandchildren, Jason, Kathryn, Allison Kelly, Madeline, Lyla Fuentes, Julian, Claire, Ethan, Sarah Rodriguez, Ava and Jack Mann; his siblings, Ann Kelly, Mary Kate Costa (Mike), Nancy Morris and Tim Kelly; and his sisters-in-law, Lucy Kelly and Carole Coleman (Glenn). He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews along with their numerous children representing many more grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the Kelly family requests that donations be made to the Brian Kelly Fund with New Haven Schools Foundation.
