She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Nies; her former husbands, Albert Brazauskas and Lindsay Warford; her parents, Margaret Broyles (Howe) and Earl Lee Broyles; her grandparents, James Howe and Frances Howe (Miranda); her siblings, Oral "Bebe" Broyles, Allen "Buddy" Broyles and Frances "Babe" Thomson-Gettle; her daughter Debra DeMartini; and her grandson Steven Brodie.

She is survived by: her daughter Shari Arrington of Redwood Valley, California; her grandchildren, Vanessa Brisbine, Jason Arrington, Bryan Arrington (Alisa) and Matthew Arrington; her great grandchild Fiona Cahoon; and her grandchildren, DeVon Cahoon and Jason Brisbine. She is also survived by three great-great grandchildren.
