It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathryn Schapmire (Ukiah, California), who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Hicks and Edith Hicks; her husband Andy Schapmire; her daughter Andrea (Elvis); and her sister Betty Wilson.
She is survived by: her son Todd (Shari); her cousin Frankie Hicks; her family Todd (Shari); her son-in-law Don Wakefield; her grandsons, Todd Jr. and Tyler; her grandchildren-in-law, Noel and Lindsay; her great grandchildren, Gianna, Abe, Jack and Nora; and also, Betty Cave, Lori, Cathy, Greg, Tammy, Becky, Vicki, Chris and Brian. She is also survived by her many nephews, nieces, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, Kathryn would want donations made in her name to the Ukiah Player's Theater or the SPACE Program, both causes close to her heart and reflective of her lifelong love of the arts.
