Erlinda Sisneros Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2018 we had to say goodbye to Erlinda Sisneros (Ukiah, California), born in Anton Chico, New Mexico. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Standing at 4' 11", she was a dynamo, always sunny side-up and constantly humming. She loved to entertain, play piano, sing, travel, visit family and a good game of Yahtzee or Bingo. She worked hard next to Dad in many joint business endeavours including rentals and the Fair Mart grocery store. She served her community working as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a Senior Companion and a founding member of the Concilio Latino Americano Club in Ukiah. Although her memory was compromised and her vivaciousness declined, she always recognized and basked in the sunshine of her family. She will be dearly missed. Erlinda is survived by five sisters: Escolastica of Colorado and Nina, Cecilia, Terri and Patsy, all of New Mexico. Also, her five children- sons: Joe (Sandra) Sisneros, Pat (Marsha) Sisneros, Richard Sisneros, all of Ukiah and two daughters: Catherine Stearns of Santa Rosa and Frances (Jim) Owen of Redwood Valley. She was also blessed with beloved grandchildren (9), great-grandchildren (13), sisters andbrothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Julia Gutierrez, her husband of 58 years, Jose, twin sons, four brothers and two sisters. Our family would like to thank the staff of Friends House in Santa Rosa, CA for all their kindnesses, compassion and excellent care of Mom over the past three years. A memorial will be held at Friends House in Santa Rosa, CA followed by a Rosary, Mass and Burial in Anton Chico, New Mexico at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a.
