She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy McNamee Bennis and Arthur T. Bennis; her husband Bob of West Paterson, N. J.; her sisters, Jane Billings and Moira Brown; and her niece Moira Brown.
She is survived by: her brother Leo Bennis; and her siblings-in-law, Mark Joyce (Gloria) of Ukiah, David Joyce (Lorna) of Brookline, NH, Daniel Joyce (Gail) of Fairfax, VA, Jennifer Stuckey (Michael) of Ottsville, PA, Erin Joyce of Alexandria, VA, Christopher Joyce (Laurie) of Pensacola, FL and Patrick Joyce (Michelle) of Veazie, ME. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and many doting nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eversole Mortuary (141 Low Gap Rd, Ukiah, CA 95482). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Mary of the Angels Catholic Church (900 S Oak St, Ukiah, CA 95482). After the Covid pandemic, Angela returned to California to live in Ukiah with loving support of her eldest son Mark and his wife Gloria, assisted by the devoted staff of Holy Spirit Residential Care Home, and her beloved companion and nurse, Chrystal Harden.
