She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberta Horvath and Alex Horvath; and her brothers, Chuck, Jerry and Eddie.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Phipps of Twentynine Palms; her daughters, Sharon Altemoos (Michael) of Yucca Valley, Susan Lewis (John) of Sinking Springs, Jennifer Husung (Brent) of Gardnerville, Karen Cook (Jesse) of Overland Park and Katrine Herrera (George) of St. Louis, Missouri; and her sister Cindy Minark (Jim) of Twentynine Palms.
The family is asking in lieu of flowers to please donate to the ASPCA and/or the Alley Cat Allies foundations.
