He is survived by: his wife Gladie Fentem; his children, Amanda Sutton (Michael) and Bryan Childres (Tracy); his brother Dan Childres (Kristine); his grandchildren, Valerie Bentz (Preston), David Sutton, Tyler Childres, Dustin Childres and Melanie Childres; and his great grandchild Kaitlynn Bentz.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Allen Mortuary (247 N Broadway, Turlock, CA 95380). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
