It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurinda Gil of Turlock, California, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Victoria (Silva Gil); her husband Claudino C. of Melo; and her father Manuel. She is survived by: her children, Manuel (Fatima) of Melo and Helia Cardoso of Manteca; and her brother Silva (Maria) of Graciosa. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service (286 W Main St, Turlock, CA 95380). A rosary will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1200 Lyons Ave, Turlock, CA 95380).
