She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Runnells and Violet Runnells; her husband Curtis E. Chastain; her daughter Kathryn Chastain Treat; and her siblings, Ava "Jo" Kennedy, Mona Cantrell, Fred ElRoy Runnells and Bill Runnells.
She is survived by: her children, Yonona Chastain Roach of Merced and Rick Treat of Merced; her granddaughters, Sarah Treat Wass and Laura Treat; and her great grandchildren, Sadie, Kalli and Rhett.
