With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Jean Nye (Turlock, California), who passed away on May 5, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Lawson and Bertha Lawson; her brother Vernon Lawson; and her children, Vera Ruff and Roy Thomas Dodd.
She is survived by: her sisters, Vera Myers, Mildred Ring and Lola DeCamp; and her children, Allen Dukes (Freda), Linda Preusser (Randy), Eudora Rodabaugh (Frank), Syble Coonce (Martin) and Victoria Blackwell. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren.
