Chiyemi Leona Narita Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chiyemi Leona Narita (Turlock, California), born in Merced, California, who passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Chiyemi Leona may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Chiyemi Leona touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Saburo Narita and Haruko Narita; and her siblings, Lloyd, Ada Nose and Ilene Sato.
She is survived by: her siblings, Carole Narita, Gail Creighton (Doug), Sandra Beattie (Scott), Ruby Narita and Kenneth Narita (Cathy). She is also survived by 5 nieces, 2 nephews, 4 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (2619 N Berkeley Ave, Turlock, CA 95382).
