She is survived by: her children, Manuel Silvestre Sousa and Maxine Sousa Correia (Frank); her sister Guiomar Mendes Couto of Turlock; her grandchildren, Kole Sousa, Cheyanne Freitas (Darren), Xavier Kim, Montgomery Kim, Savannah Sousa, Sebastiani Kim and Nick Correia; her great grandchild Charlotte Freitas; and her siblings, Maria Mendes Garcia, Angela Mendes Bernardo, Manuel Mendes Cardoso, José Mendes Cardoso, Constantino Couto, Antonio Mendes Couto and Joáo Mendes Lourenco. She is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.
