With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mittie Crook of Tulare, California, born in Burnt Corn, Alabama, who passed away on February 28, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lett and Edith Puyear Lett; her husband Lamar Crook Sr. (Bethany Baptist Church); her children, Lamar Crook, Jr., Kevin Crook and Edith Crook; and her siblings, Stonewall Jackson, Artherlie, Theodore Roosevelt, James Lett and Mazie Smith.
She is survived by: her sister Annie Lee Lett of Sacramento, CA; and her daughters, Beverly Clark (James), Janie Ruth Johnson and Debra Mirschell of Tulare, CA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
