He is survived by: his wife Bernadette Torrez; his children, Charlene Herrera, John Torrez IIII, Charles "Chuck" Garcia, Elizabeth Marie Torrez and Raquel Joaquin; and his siblings, Pete Torrez, Rachel Tristao of Tulare and Joe Torrez of New Mexico. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren.
