He was predeceased by: his wife Dora Munoz; his parents, Rufino Munoz and Elosia Morin Munoz; his stepmother Cleotilde Martinez Munoz; his siblings, Samuel Munoz, Gilbert Munoz, Joe Munoz, Modesto Munoz, Willie Munoz, Lacilla and Sofia Munoz; his daughter Elisabeth Munoz; his stepson Gregory Montano; and his grandson James Garza.
He is survived by: his children, John Emanuel Munoz, Rose Huereca, Janie Holguin, Johnny Munoz, Stanley Montano, Rick Montano, Joe Montano, Chon Montano and Corey Montano; and his siblings, Julian Munoz, Rufino Munoz, Amalia Avalos, Linda Lemus, Dora Null, Mary Garcia, Rosa Williams, Lydia Herrera, Sofia Browning and Sylvia Torres. He is also survived by his 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
