Georgia Pamela Cunningham passed away peacefully at her home in Tulare, California, on December 14, 2024, at the age of 67. Born on September 12, 1957, in Palo Alto, California, she was the beloved daughter of Theda McDonald of Tulare and George Cunningham of Colorado.

At the age of 10, Georgia moved with her family to Tulare, where she grew up alongside her three siblings: Jennifer (Mike) Petty, Danny Cunningham, and Carrie (Bill) Young. She attended Sundale Elementary School and graduated from Tulare Union High School in 1975 as a proud member of the Redskins community.

Georgia discovered her passion for numbers early in life and pursued a career in accounting. Her dedication and skill in her profession were matched only by her devotion to her family. In 1984, she welcomed her only daughter, Erica Fishback, who became the light of her life along with her family. Georgia cherished every moment spent with Erica, her husband Mike and their three children Sutter, Indy and Griffin. Being their Nana brought so much joy and meaning to her life.

A woman of deep faith and compassion, Georgia was an active member of First Church of God in Tulare. She dedicated much of her time to volunteering and leading the church’s Homeless Ministry while also serving on the church board. Her commitment to helping others reflected her generous spirit and unwavering belief in service to her community.

She is survived by her mother, Theda McDonald, siblings Jennifer (Mike) Petty, Danny Cunningham, and Carrie (Bill) Young. Her daughter and son in law, Erica and Mike Fishback and their three children Sutter, Indy and Griffin.

Georgia will be remembered for her kind heart, steadfast faith, and love for those around her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
