He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietro Maffia and Maria Maffia; his grandson Kevin; his siblings, Leo, John, George, Louie, Katie Fomasi, Elsie Hansen and Martha Caletti; and his siblings-in-law, Bobbie Maffia, Ollie Maffia, John Fomasi, Glen Hansen, Alfred Caletti and Ernie Corda.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Bigelow; his children, Renee Avila (Fernando), Ralph (Tia) and Jeanette Freitas (Danny); his grandchildren, Jason, Tricia, Broc, Tyler, Tabitha and Garrick; his sisters, Minnie Corda, Genny Mazzetta (Clarence) and Alice Cristani (Gene); and his siblings-in-law, Eda Maffia, Betty Bourdens (Bruce) and Albert Bigelow (Kathy).
