He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Downing and Carrie Long Downing; and his sisters, Allene Dodderer and Lorraine Klippenstein. He is survived by: his brothers, Roy, Clifford, Wayne, Harold (Pete) and Donnie Downing; his wife Tressie Robertson Downing; his children, Danyel Downing of Visalia and Darin Downing (Cherie); his grandchildren, Jacob Downing and Shaina Darling (Tim) of Fresno; his brothers, Denzel Downing of Fresno and Kenneth Downing of Armona; and his niece Judy Howard (Dennis) of Orosi. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
