Wynema Wheelock Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wynema Wheelock of Tujunga, California, who passed away on November 29, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, W. O. Beard and Nancy Ailene Dodd; her brothers, Thurston, Billy and Ray Beard; and her grandson Jett McDaniel.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Wade (Nancy), Shireen Wheelock, Valerie Wheelock Najarian and Nancy Mc Daniel-Park (Bret); her grandchildren, Rich Wade, Samantha Goodell, Tracy Utech, Emily Taylor, Skyler, Mackenna and Madison Park; her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Daniel Wade, Noah Utech and Pandora Taylor; her caregivers, Rosario Cariaso and Ana Herrera; and also, Lawrence, Kay and Larry Park.

For those attending the service, in lieu of flowers, please feel free to bring an unwrapped toy that will be donated to the La Canada Sheriff's Department Annual Toy Drive, honoring Wynema in the spirit of Christmas and her love of children.
