He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward and Virginia; and his brother Timothy. He is survived by: his children, Tim (Raven) of Chico, CA, Jamie (Derek) of Reno, NV and Julie McDonald; and his sibling Madison.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the ALS Association.
