He was predeceased by: his parents, Anastacio Ortega and Rita Ortega-Gutierrez; his stepfather Ray Gutierrez; his daughter Gloria Dalton; his grandson Brian Dalton; and his siblings, Mary Reynoso (Vincent), Delfino Ortega (Consuelo), Lizzie Ramirez (Julian), Joe Ortega (Sally), Rosie Martinez, Vera Lucero (Nick) and Ray Ortega (Lupe).
He is survived by: his spouse Connie Fernandez of Stockton; his children, Pete Ortega Jr. of Tracy, Alfred Ortega (Dolores) of Tracy, Jerry Ortega of Tracy, Bobby Ortega of Tracy, Shirlee Vierra (Michael) of Tracy and Debbie Ortega of Fair Oaks; and his siblings, Lupe "Ruthie" Valerio, Ramona Solario, Bobby Gutierrez and Jess Gutierrez (Laverne). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren.
Services and Burial will be private for immediate family only due to COVID-19 and our current social distancing restrictions.
