He was predeceased by: his parents, Raffaele Boccanfuso and Ida Boccanfuso. He is survived by: his wife Lili; his daughters, Maria Banuelos (Reyes), Gina Valente (Robert) and Victoria Weaver (Gregory); his grandchildren, Diego, Brooke and Sebastian; his stepgrandchildren, Olivia and Will Valente; and his sisters, Brigida Hettner, Carmela Rumore and Luigia Boccanfuso. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
