She was predeceased by: her grandmother Myrtle Williams. She is survived by: her husband George M. Henson of Tracy, CA; her children, Gregory Reed of Sacramento, CA, Von Greta Henson of Tracy, CA, Delwyn Henson (Connie) of Tracy, CA, Renee Russell (Anthony) of Mt. House, CA, Pamela Hare (Darrell) of Tracy, CA and Georgina Capizano (Edward) of Tracy, CA; and her sister Brenda Kimble of Cary, NC. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
She received a call from none other than President Richard Nixon, and was able to convince his administration to make a contribution, thereby securing funding for the completion of the Larch-Clover Community Center project.
