With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Josefa Aponte of Tracy, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 13, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria and Luis; and her siblings, Rene, Telma, Julio, Gilberto, Ramon, Luis and Aurita.
She is survived by: her husband Felix R. Aponte of Puerto Rico; her children, Melissa Aponte (Patrick Wilson), Endel Aponte (Adrienne Aponte) and Cindy Aponte; and her grandchildren, Marcus, Amaya and Izaiah.
A prayer will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fry Memorial Chapel (550 S Central Ave, Tracy, CA 95376). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at the Tracy Public Cemetery (501 W Schulte Rd, Tracy, CA 95376).
