She was predeceased by: her husband Salvador; her parents, Lupe Raya and Angel Raya; her daughter Heidi; her grandson Mario Ruiz III; and her siblings, Joe Raya, Raymond Raya, Bobby Raya, Mary Ellen Cardona and Marylou Villalobos.
She is survived by: her sons, Mario Ruiz (Mayris) of Phoenix, AZ, Chava Ruiz (Liz) of Stockton, Jerry Ruiz (Maria) of Phoenix, AZ and Rudy Ruiz (Casandra) of Tracy; and her siblings, Tillie Rivera, Julia Cordova, Angel Raya, Richard Raya, Julian Raya, Johnny Raya and Tony Garcia. She is also survived by her children, as well as her twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
