It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric Jay Heaton (Tracy, California), who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Audree Heaton and LeGrand J. Heaton. He is survived by: his wife Carol Heaton; his children, Keith Heaton (Patricia), Melissa Langford, Michelle Heaton, Jason Hampton (Joleen) and Aunna Hankins (Joseph); his siblings, Debbie Krukov (Alex) and Mark Heaton (Juan Flores); and his grandchildren, Justin Langford, Max Heaton and Peyton Reese. He is also survived by family are so grateful for his friends, co-workers.

“I had the pleasure of working with Eric at Wilco for over 35 years. As my supervisor he was one of the hardest working men I knew in the industry. In the warehouse he had one speed when moving about. FAST. Little things remembered of Eric were his big smile, hardy laugh and constant adjusting of his glasses. Accommodating, yet standing firm when he could not be, were traits you could count on. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace my friend. God’s blessing on the family. Bill Burke”
