She was predeceased by: her husband Robert K. Kanno. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Oda, Patsy Uyeda (Lawrence), Blanche Tengan (Glenn) and Leatrice Taira (Mark); and her brother Roy Hanzawa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Private memorial gathering will be held at a later date due to Covid-19.
